About

Acoustic wall art that earns its place

HelloWalls makes acoustic wall art, interchangeable frames and 3D felt panels from recycled PET felt. Every piece is produced after the order is placed and shipped directly to the customer.

Acoustics shape how a room feels

When dinner-table conversations get tiring, when home-office calls cost more energy than they should, when music in the living room turns restless quickly — that's rarely the speaker. It's the room itself: hard surfaces, parallel walls, too little textile.

Acoustic panels solve that. But many panels look like they belong in a recording studio. We build panels that work as wall art and absorb measurably alongside it — not the other way around.

The standard is simple: a panel must look right and absorb. Both. If either is missing, we don't solve the problem we promised.

What we make

Three product lines, one material

Three approaches to the same goal: less echo, a calmer room, and a wall worth looking at. All three lines use the same multi-layer PET felt as the absorbing core.

Acoustic wall art

Printed PET felt in a wooden frame. Over 10,000 motifs, fixed size, wall art with an acoustic function.

Interchangeable frames

Textile artwork in an aluminium frame. Motif swaps in minutes, acoustic performance stays the same.

3D felt panels

Relief panels in layered PET felt. No print — the material itself forms the image. Handmade.

Material

What's inside a panel

The absorbing core is multi-layer PET felt, made from recycled PET bottles. From 9 mm it absorbs measurably in the speech band (500–2000 Hz) — the frequencies where voices, TV audio and calls feel echoey.

The wooden frames on our wall art are solid wood and fit warm residential interiors. The aluminium frames on the interchangeable-frame line are slim and clean and fit office and multi-use spaces.

PET felt is fire-retardant, dimensionally stable and keeps its acoustic performance. On sun-exposed walls the colour can fade slightly — absorption does not change.

Sustainability

Material decisions we can defend

Acoustic panels are a long-life product. We design them so they actually live up to that — through material, production and lifespan.

Recycled material

The PET felt is made from recycled plastic bottles. A 100×140 cm panel uses several hundred grams of recyclate — no virgin plastic in the absorbing core.

Made to order, no stock

We only produce after the order is placed. No warehouse stock, no overproduction, no leftover inventory to store or destroy.

Built for lifespan

PET felt keeps its absorption for decades. On interchangeable frames the textile artwork can be replaced — the frame stays, the motif can change.

Production

Made to order and shipped directly

We only produce after the order is placed. Prints run on demand; felt panels are handmade and assembled in the same step. No warehouse stock, no overproduction.

Shipping goes directly from the production partner to the customer. That removes intermediate warehousing and double transport.

Current collection

Our curated collection of handmade 3D felt panels. Eight designs (Artura, Aura, Estile, Harmoni, Linoa, Naturale, Oasis, Serene) in calm colours like Soft Dune, Pale Sand, Olive Mist and Terra Bloom, as a 2-piece set in sizes S, M and L. Each set is hand-assembled after the order is placed.

Where we ship

We ship across Europe. Shipping is included in most cases.

Start with one panel

The simplest place to start is one acoustic wall art piece on the most critical wall. You'll hear the difference immediately and can decide later whether a second panel is worth it.
